Donald Jay Keene, Jr. – Donnie is the owner and operator of a third generation independent dealership his grandfather began in March of 1962, where his grandmother received her dealer license and became the first female independent automobile dealer in Tazewell County. Their son Don Keene Sr. purchased to dealership from his father in 1970 where his mother would work the office, Donnie and his sister would help wash and clean the vehicles. When he turned 19 he started selling cars and in 1991 when his father retired Donnie purchased the dealership, then one year later began his rental business.
Donnie is also very active in his community. He is on the Town Council, on the board of the Cumberland Plateau Planning Commission, District 8 president of the Virginia Independent Dealers Association (VIADA) and state Vice President on the VIADA.

He has 2 sons that help around the dealership Aaron age 18 and Jacob age 14. Don and his wife, Carla Ann Keene, had a baby of there own, Caroline. Carla Ann helps around the office and has had her own business for 18 years, a children’s dance school.

Two new additions to our team are Doug Steele and Kelly Grenstead. Doug is our Sales Manager and he has been in the automotive industry for over a quarter of a century. In that time he has worked for new car franchises and owned his own independent dealership in Richland, VA for ten years. After retiring, you might say he missed the car business and has been a welcome addition to Don's Auto Exchange. Kelly is our Rental Manager. No one is more enthusiastic about helping the client than Kelly! He often helps out with sales as well as handle all the Rental responsibilities and we are happy to have him as a part of our team!
